Direction of Use

However, for beginners who are new to retinol, 0.3% retinol is a good amount to introduce into everyday skincare routines, starting with application of the retinol serum 2-3 times a week, gradually moving up to daily use.

The Retinol B3 Anti-Ageing Serum is also formulated with vitamin B3 or niacinamide and glycerin. A combination of these ingredients makes the Retinol B3 Serum suitable for use on those with sensitive skin types. Retinol is very versatile and has many benefits.

The La Roche-Posay Retinol B3 Serum is formulated with 0.3% retinol and niacinamide. Skincare ingredients to pair with this combination range from hyaluronic acid, glycerin, vitamin B5, ceramides, peptides, and more. However, it is recommended to not mix retinol with other chemical exfoliants such as salicylic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid and more. Mixing these ingredients may dry out the skin and cause irritation.
